CBL Data Recovery Technologies Pty Ltd. (http://www.cbltech.com.au), a leading international provider of computer data recovery services, has achieved Endorsed Supplier status under the Commonwealth Government’s Endorsed Supplier Arrangement (ESA) for its laboratory in Australia. The endorsement broadens CBL’s service capabilities granting authorization for it to perform data recovery for Australian government agencies.

Under the ESA, which is administered by the Australian Government’s Department of Finance and Administration, IT service providers must achieve Endorsed Supplier status to service or supply Commonwealth Government departments. This endorsement of CBL is an excellent example of its adherence to industry specific standards and allows it to enter a previously untapped sector to further expand its presence within the Australian market.

"CBL has made a significant investment in proprietary data recovery technologies and is one of the first companies to develop global processes and standards for this increasingly popular ‘service of last resort’," says Vicky Brauner, managing director of CBL Australia. "CBL’s Endorsed Supplier status assures Australian government agencies, businesses and even home-users of the integrity, reliability and success of our methodologies, and firmly reinforces our position at the forefront of the data recovery industry."

To obtain Endorsed Supplier status, CBL underwent a stringent assessment process to satisfy strict endorsement criteria, including product and service compliance with agreed industry standards, compliance with certain Australian government policies, financial viability of the business, industry development, favorable referee reports, and agreement and adherence to the Endorsement rules.

CBL’s Endorsed Supplier status holds continuous validity providing CBL continue to meet all obligations under the ESA.

"Looking to the future, the endorsement and subsequent ability to service government clients will be key drivers in continuing the exponential year on year growth we have achieved since entering the Australian market," adds Brauner. "It will play a crucial part in our aggressive local expansion strategy."

A leader in its field, CBL is a multinational data recovery organization with facilities in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Barbados, England, Germany, China, Singapore, Japan and Australia. The company has been focused solely on the data recovery market for more than a decade. Through its on-going research and development efforts, CBL has created a library of proprietary processes to successfully recover data from failed PC hard disk drives when all other conventional methods have failed.
