CBL DATA RECOVERY APPOINTS CHANNEL MANAGER
Brisbane, Australia - 17 January 2006: CBL Data Recovery Technologies Pty Ltd. (CBL) today announces the appointment of Katie Smith as the company's Channel Manager. Smith is responsible for establishing relationships with resellers and other channel partners throughout Australia.
Smith will assist resellers who want to offer data recovery services to their corporate, SMEs, and individual clients. This valuable service includes recovery for every data loss condition including physical hardware damage, human error, software malfunction, and virus contamination.
"Data recovery is an often neglected extension of customer service and support," remarks Smith. "With CBL's Data Recovery Advantage Program, channel partners can easily integrate data recovery services into the service and support agreements they offer their customers including Disaster Recovery Plans."
In 2005, CBL quadrupled its number of resellers to 60. The company has aggressive plans to expand its reseller community to 200 by 2007.

Smith joins CBL following a successful career in customer service in both the retail and technology sectors. Smith's experience and skill set will be leveraged to support both resellers and direct customers.
